The volunteers included former FBI Agents, including a criminal profiler, Texas Rangers, forensic experts and others with extensive investigative backgrounds in Homicide cases. Cole coordinated meetings with the Cold Case Volunteers and Cold Case Murder detectives, making the necessary assignments to ensure the volunteer recommendations were assigned and completed. The process successfully resolved several cold case murders, some of which are recorded on the SAPD Website.
